Robyn is going to run three sessions of rock painting during Term 3.  Robyn chooses her rocks, in suitable sizes, shapes and colours, at a garden supplies place which kindly provides them free!  She then uses a range of different paints to decorate them.  This activity can be relaxing, meditative and creative.  Designs can be whatever you want.  There are thousands of ideas online. The painted rocks are then coated with a sealant, and are ready to display, give away as gifts, or hide in places where random people will find them e.g. gardens and playgrounds.  It is a great pleasure to watch a child find one in a playground!  It’s also a good feeling to do a random act of kindness – something that will brighten someone else’s day.
